William Stansbury Price born December 9, 1858 in Harding county Ohio died January 21, 1930 at his home in Hamilton township. He suffered a stroke after years of poor health. He married Sidney M. Bitler January 2, 1881. moved to Clare county April 16, 1898. Eleven children, two predeceased him. widow died July 26, 1928. Survived by sons Clifford, Jesse, Earl, Roy, and Harley. daughters Mrs Grace Bigler and others. thirty seven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral July 3 at Allen schoolhouse. Rev. George Bailey officiated. burial in Hamilton cemetery.

Hugh McGuire age 83 died suddenly at his Vernon township home Saturday evening after a long tenure as a farmer and family starter. Survived by his wife a daughter and four sons two brothers Dominic and Michael and other relatives. Funeral services were held at St Henrys church Tuesday morning July 29 with Fr Fons presiding and interment in church cemetery.
