Clarke area mourns Dr Eugene J Gershon 49 a Clare osteopathic physician after his auto struck a deer on I 75 south of Houghton Lake and plunged into a wooded strip killing him instantly. He chaired Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Clare Clinic and served on the Clare Osteopathic Hospital staff and Board. Funeral services set for Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Stephenson Funeral Home with burial in Cherry Grove. Memorial donations urged to the Memorial Fund. Clare Clinic to be closed until Monday.
