Quiet Monday Election Yields Tiny Clare Turnout
Clare voters cast only 287 ballots as Mayor Lewis H. Thompson seeks a sixth term. Alex McKinnon won city clerk over Edward White, and Ralph Stevens narrowly led for Supervisor in the first ward. Second ward results show Thompson leading for Mayor and McKinnon prevailing for Clerk with close races for Treasurer and Alderman.
