Youth drown near Milford after swimming outing
John Moneyhan, 19, of 4621 Columbia Avenue, drowned in East Fork River near its junction with the Little Miami in South Milford Ohio. He was swimming with four others at a neighborhood camp and sank after wading out. Jake Maphet, 4621 Eastern Avenue, recovered the body. Dr. Kneisler Milford pronounced him dead. The body was sent to Johnson funeral home Milford where the father identified it. Also noted, Hamilton recorded 103 in shade, thermometer 112 in sun at Third and High streets.
