Cincinnati Bank Bandits Captured After Gun Battle
Two Cincinnati men Harry Adams and Eddie Myers have been captured in Toledo after a gun battle that left bandit Jim Ane dead and Jack Dunken in custody. The four men allegedly robbed Noble Illinois First National Bank of 600 dollars in cash and 30 000 dollars in bonds. Adams and Myers surrendered when outnumbered. Ane and Dunken fled but were stopped by deputies. The car used carried a license from Terre Haute Indiana and was traced to a clothing firm. Myers is believed to have been arrested in Cincinnati in 1929.
