Nine Die in Wreck Near Enderlin North Dakota
A southbound Minneapolis St Paul & Sault Ste Marie train collided with a switch engine at Enderlin North Dakota at 2 10 this morning. Eight men died instantly and one died later. thirty seven others were seriously injured. Most fatalities occurred in the smoking car which was crushed by the baggage coach. Rescue parties aided by locals rushed victims to a small hospital and emergency facilities, while a special medical train sped to Enderlin. The wreck sparked fires that crews battled as they removed bodies and survivors from the wrecked cars. The train involved is the Moose Jaw South Dakota to St Paul accommodation.
