If leaders faced trenches and hunger for labor peace
The author argues rulers and union leaders would deter wars and strikes if forced to endure soldiers’ hardships or hunger as strikers. The piece uses hypothetical scenarios to claim crises arise from privileged classes avoiding sacrifice. It contrasts royal and corporate elites with workers’ toil.
