The U S Civil Service Commission announces open competitive exams for positions including junior librarian and library assistant with salaries from 1260 to 2000 dollars, botanical artist at 3200 to 3700, school social worker 2300, state crop loan supervisor 2400, field supervision 1800, and junior multigraph operator 1400. All salaries subject to up to 15 percent economy deduction and a 3.44 percent retirement deduction. A re-employment office will be opened in Chateau under the national service and will operate from the Teton Implement Co. H L Stafford, president and manager, will direct the office. He visited Great Falls to receive instructions and coordinate with district head Mr Rearden. Unemployed registrants in Teton County will be transferred to the local office. Stafford was appointed by county commissioners in a special session last Friday. The same meeting also named Mrs Louis Stuart to replace Miss Agnes Pauline as county nurse.

John Olstad and Edith Berglund both of Choteau wed Tuesday by Justice Bert P. Christie at Cascade county courthouse. Witnesses were Lillian L. Brown and J. W. Murphy. The couple will reside at Chateau where Olstad works for Milwaukee Railroad.
Firemen's Relief association calls a special meeting for Thursday at 8 p m. Jas M Sulgrove serves as secretary and chair.
Mass at Chateau is scheduled for 9 o'clock next Sunday October 29. The service will be held at Bynum.
