Legion Auxiliary Meeting Highlights and District Plans
The C James Smith Unit No. 6 met October 1 with a music program by high school students and a Girls State panel. District No. 8 plans its Fairfield convention November 3, with delegates elected. The Dutton unit held October 2 with Girls State talk, committee reports, and memorial for Lila Stanfield. A memorial service and Harvest Festival float praise followed.
