Community events brighten Farmington weekend despite cold wind
Opening fishing season drew few hardy anglers as cold winds chilled streams. Many residents chose events: hospital open house, library art show, and a pine wood derby at the pavilion. Steve Brown and Doug Tangen ran the derby with family spectators. Debra and Brent Otness joined a Fairfield Saddle Club horse show with blue ribbons and top placements.
