Delinquent Tax Law Clarified by Attorney General
The attorney general clarified the new delinquent tax law noting that penalties for 1930 to 1933 totaled 26.17.77 dollars and that under the act delinquent taxpayers will save that amount plus reduced interest. Delinquent 1934 taxes may be redeemed without interest or penalty, and taxpayers must pay all taxes delinquent up to the act’s passage.
