Appropriations for Forest Work Small This Year
W N Streeter senior ranger on the Teton district says national forest appropriations will be much smaller this year. The southern end gets 240 dollars and the northern end 120 dollars with most spending on maintenance, trails, protection, and minimal new work. Bud McNeals and L J Howard plan a small crew and Ethridge from Glacier Park is added to the roster. Supplies arrive, forest truck hauls them to camps, and horses move from Willow creek pasture as the season starts.
