Fire damages Standard Oil truck after wiring short
A Standard Oil truck owned by Paul Manor was severely damaged Wednesday noon when a wiring short started a fire in the cab. Joe Anderson parked the truck in front of Eddie's Toggery, a passerby saw smoke, called for help, and firefighters extinguished the blaze, though the wiring, glove compartment, and dash instruments were burned.
