Ground Observer corps volunteers in Montana including Helena and Billings filter center areas will be on a 24 hour alert on July 14. Colonel Paul E. Greiner, commander of the 29th Air Division, says radar gaps make ground observation essential for an effective defense warning system. Volunteers needed. contact county civil defense coordinators or write to Defense Great Falls Air Force base for information.
