The Rev. Grant S. Moore arrives in Chateau to replace Rev. H. L. Engdahl as pastor of the Methodist church. Falls Youth Injured in July 4 Wrecks
Two Fourth of July crashes in Teton county involved speed. Dick Wallack, 17, of Great Falls, suffered a badly mangled arm after his 1940 Chevrolet left the road east of Fairfield. four other juveniles were unharmed. Wallack was taken to Teton Memorial and then Columbus hospital, with a prognosis of possible permanent injury. The second crash near Pendroy on Wellenstein hill involved a 1950 Ford van driven by William Bert Fouts, who fled the road but was not injured. five guard posts were torn out and the vehicle damaged. Fouts was cited for reckless driving. Wallack to be turned over to probation officers upon recovery.

Mr and Mrs Bob Armstrong hosted over weekend holidays Mr and Mrs Floyd Emerson and son Ronnie of Seattle. The men were World War II buddies while stationed on a navy boat out of Seattle for two years. Dr C W Boussard Chateau Ira Perkins Bynum and other members depart for New York City to compete with the Great Falls Elks drum and bugle corps at the Elks national convention. CCU Storage Loan Program Extended Through June 1953
Extension of the Commodity Credit Corporation farm storage loan program was announced by Jake Luinstra. The program, started in 1949, lets producers borrow to build or buy storage structures.
