The Democratic committee led by C W Burns will meet Friday evening at the courthouse. The Republican committee will meet Tuesday evening August 18 at the same venue. Both parties will elect officers fill vacancies and conduct other business under the 30 day post primary requirement.
Frank Fahl 65 longtime apiary operator near Fairfield died suddenly Saturday from a heart attack after being at Carlson store. His body was shipped to Billings for funeral arrangements. Services were held Wednesday at Roberts funeral home chapel with Carl Leardsley of Fairfield officiating.
B A Roll of this city a special agent for the Equitable Life Assurance society will leave Sunday for Salt Lake City to attend an educational conference of Equitable agents and officials. The all expenses paid trip was awarded for reaching the sales quota required for attendance.
Harry Bleecker, formerly with the CCCs for four years and a sergeant, was summoned about two weeks ago for work with the U.S. Forest Service and assigned as lookout at the Boulder Divide lookout tower in St. Joe National Forest Avery Idaho. He is the son of H. H. Bleecker of this city and a graduate of Teton County High School.
