Deep Test West of Dupuyer Near Rockies
Montana Oil & Mining Journal reports a California Co. deep test well planned for Teton county west of Pendroy near the Rockies. The site on the Bob Pfrimmer land requires three miles of access road and a cat tractor to reach the top of a domal structure. The Devonian target lies about 3000 feet down, with uncertain testing history on the over thrust mountain front and parallels to Turner Valley and Milk River anticlines.
