Fairfield residents Mr and Mrs James Mills and family returned from Billings after visiting relatives. Eureka Montana visitors Harry and Jim Withcombe, former local residents, stopped by. Jim studies dentistry at the University of Oregon while Tom trains at Quantico after Columbia. Bill DeGroot, Cut Bank coach, rejoined the Marines at Shelby Aug 9. he served as a first lieutenant in the South Pacific including Caroline and Kwajalein landings.
