Pishkun CCC Camp Reopens With New Enrollees
The Pishkun CCC camp at the south end of Pishkun reservoir reopened for the summer. A contingent of 113 men arrived in Great Falls and were taken to the camp. Many come from New York and Pennsylvania with more expected. Projects include Willow Creek feeder canal work, dragline tasks, Elbow Coulee wasteway, and silt removal in rocky canal sections to reduce erosion. Project manager A. W. Walker notes CCC labor saves costs.
