Wild Bill Hickok biography challenged by modern biographers
The essay reviews Frank J. Wilstach's The Prince of Pistoleers and argues that while some Wild Bill legends are debunked, the biography preserves core truths. It traces origins of the McCanles affair, notes Hickok's self defense acquittal, and contrasts myth with documented facts about his life and death.

Morrison Cave Near Three Forks Reveals Nature's Art Work
The Morrison cave near Three Forks Montana in Jefferson county is described as one of the world’s most beautiful natural works. Visitors reach it by auto or rail then descend a 1500 foot mountain slope to a cathedral chamber and the striking Organ room. The cave features stalagmites stalactites “Caskets of the Gods” and the Fountain of Youth with a 300 step ascent and a subter ranean stream. Discovery is credited to Donald and George Morrison in the 1890s.
