Hospital Auxiliary meeting notes and postponed fashion show

Last Tuesday seven members met at 7 00 pm with President Vera Lekavy and guest speaker Cora Lindley site manager of Chetwynd hospital. Cora cited a Canada wide nursing shortage and a busy Mother's Day with flowers and cards from Jaimie Young. The fashion show was cancelled but seamstresses and knitters will be paid in October. The group donated a photo album after a children colouring contest and aims to raise funds for tympanic ear thermometers and maternity video tapes. Next meeting is June 27 at the Stagecoach at 6 pm, then a summer hiatus.
