Ducks Unlimited Trapping Lake Project Aims to Safeguard Marsh Life
Ducks Unlimited advances a water control embankment at Trapping Lake north of Cameron Lake to stabilize water levels for nesting birds and wildlife. Biologist Brad Arner and surveyor Jay Manyk supervise construction, with funding from Habitat Conservation Fund and follow up with fertilization, revegetation, nesting boxes, and floating islands to aid beavers, ducks, and other species.
