Chetwynd approves sidewalk project in 1996 budget
Chetwynd plans to use about 110000 from its 1996 capital budget for a new downtown sidewalk from Don Titus school toward the business district. The move overrules a public works recommendation to hold funds in reserve. The 720000 road and sidewalk and downtown revitalization budget, plus runway work, strains staff, so in house engineering will handle the project. Square B Construction will discuss the sidewalk with the district.
