Dress Reform and Tramp Problem Debated by St Helens Club

At a St Helens meeting Saturday a mix of invited ladies discussed dress reform and the tramp problem. Miss Millett and Mrs. Lynch spoke on Dress Reform while Miss Forret spoke on Physical Culture. A proposal urged tramps to work an hour and a half for a hot meal and three quarters of an hour for a cold meal, with housewives’ signatures sought to endorse the schedule.
