Ebenezer Russell born October 19 1828 in Genesee New York moved with his family to Pennsylvania then spent years in Tennessee Washington and Chehalis before settling in Whitman County. He married Nancy Withrow in 1850 and had nine children. A Baptist Christian his death occurred March 27 1893 at age 69 years 5 months and 8 days.
