Yesterday Harry McGowan bought 165 bales of Plant and Goodard hops but the price paid was not disclosed. Only two hop lots remain in the county with the last in Chehalis. Spring yard work continues while new 98 contracts are not noted. The market is dull and lower for the season as New York and Lewis county clear out hops with Oregon still holding a few thousand bales of commons and trash.
