Cedar Rapids transit overhaul cuts stops and adds routes
Cedar Rapids adopts a 14 route system with 30 buses and 1.3 million annual rides. Frequency increases from 30 to 15 60 minutes on key lines and two new circulators will reduce downtown trips. No evening Sunday service added due to funding limits. subsidies for Marion and Hiawatha set to expire by 2019.
