Memorial Day Flags Honor Cedar Rapids Veterans
11 year old Johnathon Endicott and his family joined 100 volunteers at Cedar Memorial in Cedar Rapids to place more than 6,700 U S flags for veterans. The effort honors fallen service members and marks the first Memorial Day without his grandfather Martin Osier who died at 73. Endicott’s family learned of the project through Boy Scout activities.
