Major shake up coming to Cedar Rapids bus routes

Cedar Rapids transit unveils the first major system shake up in 15 years with increased frequency on busy lines and satellite hubs, but some stops will be cut and riders may walk farther. Changes take effect July 31, with officials saying the retooled routes focus on high use areas and schools to attract more riders while preserving geography. Branstad’s assets top one million in disclosure

Former Iowa governor Terry Branstad reports assets of at least 1 million and up to 3.3 million in a federal financial disclosure for his bid to be U S ambassador to China.
