City council chambers expect lease signings after a hearing on the present terminal and a 10 year post occupancy period. Present leases expire June 30. A December suit by Ozark MVA and a local attorney blocked an $11.5 million bond sale for a new terminal. If withdrawn after leases are signed, $9.5 million in general obligation bonds may be sold at noon Thursday to finance the project. The issue was cut by $2 million due to smaller building plans and lower interest rates.
