Spectrum brings wide sound to Centurion Lounge in Cedar Rapids
Diana Nollen reviews Spectrum formerly Elite Society as they back Don Hinton at the Centurion Lounge. The Mobile Alabama quartet blends blues rock and country with high energy vocals and crowd-pleasing Elvis and Newton inspired performances. Hinton channels Wayne Newton and Elvis while Spectrum delivers guitar, keyboard, and percussion solos, though sound may overwhelm at times. Spectrum and Hinton perform nightly through June 4 at the Sheraton Inn lounge, 525 33rd Ave SW, 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday.
