Six motorists charged with drunk driving in Linn County
Six persons were arrested since Sunday and charged with drunk driving in Linn County. Michael J. Davis, 24, was charged with driving left of center. Edgar E. Light, 44, was charged with improper use of lanes. Todd Allen Stephen, 21, was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road. Toni M. Wingfield, 33, was arrested on County Road X-20. Stevan D. Benton County Man Arrested After Motel Stick-Up
Police stopped a van near Exel Inn and arrested Joseph S. Conway 24 of Belle Plaine on second degree robbery charges after a male clerk at the Exel Inn was robbed of cash. More than $100 was recovered from under a seat in the suspect’s van and Conway held on $11,000 bond.
