Coralville votes Tuesday on its utilities franchise
Coralville voters decide Tuesday whether Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric Co. remains the sole provider for 25 years. With the current franchise expiring in 1984, officials say a no vote could hardly end service, and costs of about 1200 dollars are passed to roughly 3500 participating customers.
