Four men arrested in Las Vegas for theft of 24 tons of U S cannon shells
The four men were arrested in Las Vegas after allegedly stealing 24 tons of 90mm cannon shells from Nellis Air Force Base. An undercover ATF agent met the suspects at a vacant Las Vegas Strip lot to finalize a $100,000 sale. The shells, valued at up to $500,000, were taken from obsolete tank targets during a two month operation.
