Cedar Rapids man charged after fiancee severely injured
Richard Gerard Brown, 47, faces charges of attempted murder and willful injury after an assault Friday left his fiancee with multiple facial fractures, seven broken ribs, and other serious injuries. She requires multiple surgeries. Brown admitted the attack. He has not appeared in court as of Monday morning.
