Dear Miss Eisenman: Money has nothing to do with a pastor's bringing consolation to the sick. A priest answers emergency sick calls at any hour and may be sidetracked by more ill cases. I wonder whether you show gratitude with a cup of coffee or a bite to eat.
Life of Sanctifying Grace Is Ever New and Modern
Rev. Joan B. Eset argues that novelty fascinates men but true novelty lies in the life of grace through Christ. He contrasts the old Adam with the new man reborn by the Holy Spirit, urging believers to renew their minds, shed sin, and live a life of divine life through the sacraments. The piece emphasizes ongoing spiritual transformation as the only real newness under the sun.
