Mrs Louis B Sheerer of Philadelphia has been chosen Catholic Mother of 1945 for her ten children all in religious life. The selection, announced in Cleveland by Mary L Callahan, head of the National Catholic Conference on Family Life, notes five sons in the Carmelite order and two in the Dominicans, with three daughters as Dominican nuns. The Sheerer family, long active in faith, lived in Philadelphia before moving to Loretto Pennsylvania.
