Carthage Home Garden Club held an October gathering at Mrs. Harold Ruby’s home with thirteen members. Mrs. Thomas Bush spoke on African Violets. tours to Tipp City mum gardens were planned. district convention report and festival plant sale discussed.
Mrs. Nancy McGrew of Shelbyville returned home after a six day visit with sister Mrs. Della Rumple. The Lukens family from Knightstown visited Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gatewood in Lafayette on Sunday. Rex Edwards and son Jeff stayed with Kenneth Leisure and sons in Charlottesville. Loyd Manuel and parents traveled to Indianapolis to depart for Berkeley California after a two month East visit. Sharlee Kyser and Mrs. Gouldie Kyser spent time at Eastgate. Robert Proctor of Rushville joined Foster Wilson and son for Sunday dinner.
