Texas Exposition Gathers Speed in Exhibitors Rush
Three shifts of workmen totaling nearly 5,000 are rushing Dallas Texas Centennial Exposition buildings to meet a June 6 opening. The project includes a $15 million state program and a $3.5 million city plan, with the Hall of State and two Federal buildings nearing completion. Exhibitors negotiating for space include Ford, General Electric, Beech-Nut, DuPont, Gulf, and many others as the livestock pavilions rise and the Midway takes shape for a grand national event running through November 29.
