Funeral services for Wendell P Jacobson 67 were held at the Bancroft LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Gerald O Ytelman conducting He died Sunday June 6 at an Ogden nursing home of natural causes The program included prayers invocations life history by Grant R Jacobson and musical offerings by the ward choir and guests The service featured songs Oh My Father Abide With Me Whispering Hope and a life tribute by family members in attendance

Four and five year Cub Scout kite contest at high school track
The Den held a kite flying contest at the high school track with tyrex kites from DuPont. Phillip Crawford won for highest and longest flight. other prizes went to Jimmy Christiansen Ross Hoffman Tom Porter Scott Mckenzie Sam Taylor and Jay Stevens for various kite qualities.

Democrats Meet Caribou County Democratic Central Committee
Caribou County Democrats met June 8 in the Court House to discuss fund raising for the coming year. A motion urged each Democrat to contribute $1 per month into a savings account. A Boise trip report was given by Mr and Mrs Grimm with Governor Andrus. A poll was conducted for possible 1972 candidates. Next meeting was tentatively set for August second Tuesday, pending Edith Tracy's call.
