The June 24 schedule lists numerous teams and players in a round robin style lineup. Matches include Rogers versus Jim Lansberry and Maurer versus Ise with several tag team pairings across teams 1 through 13.
Mrs. Charles W. Zahourek visited Bancroft relatives in June while Craig Gilbert Dennis Yost Brenton Wakeman earned degrees at Utah institutions. Others from Bancroft attended North Gem High School graduation where Steve Gratzer earned a diploma. Local residents traveled to Twin Falls for a wedding and viewed LDS temple sessions in California.
Mr and Mrs Walter Bingham and their son Barry of Soda Springs attended the University of Utah graduation in Salt Lake City. Barry earned a bachelor of science in administration and will pursue an MBA program in Business Administration this fall. The UPWO will meet Thursday at 2:00 in the Presbyterian Church Annex for a summer hiatus.
Thatcher Reed McGregor and others visited Smithfield Utah for supper at Marys Cafe. Pri mary summer meetings were held at Cleveland Ward Chapel. Mrs Jennie Perry of Ogden visited her sister Mrs Rulon Burton. Mrs Perry and others attended the Sant reunion at Downey. Families traveled to Idaho Falls and Soda Springs for gatherings. American War Mothers Convention met in Burley at the Ponderosa Inn. State convention attendees included Hazel Ozburn Myrintha Hopkins Jona Mikesell and Ruby Fisher. Three Silver Star Mothers were honored at a luncheon with gifts and program.
Martha Harris and Fern Deaton lead 4 H club members through hemming stitches and fabric straightening for towels and tray cloths. Demonstrations include wear thimble threading tools sewing habits wrist pin cushions and fabric preparation. Pledges led by Marie Stevens and Pattie Deaton. Refreshments served by club members.
The Caribou Field Archers hosted their annual cleanup on Sunday May 28 at the archery range up Trail Canyon. Breakfast welcomed 40 club members and wives, plus nine teen archers. Volunteers rejuvenated trails erected new bales and targets painted signs and cleaned the campground. President Lowell Thomas invites all archers to the weekly Friday shoot and potluck at 6 p.m. at Trail Canyon.
Lori Farris states the next meeting will be held at 51 North 2nd East with Anne Harris confirming. The message records a venue detail and involved organizer.
The Idaho Board of Highway Directors invites sealed proposals at the Department of Highways Boise office until 2:00 PM on June 20, 1967. Work includes reconstructing and widening shoulders, excavating soft spots, applying roadmix bituminous surfacing and seal coating over about 8.1 miles of US-30N from Pebble to Bancroft.
