Kinney Risner a 19 year old north town resident was arrested on carrying concealed gun charges. He bought the firearm from an unknown man near Vance and South streets amid railroad gang activity. Merle Ward and Hobart Spaum of Fostoria appeared for liquor convictions and payment reminders. A drunken man was rounded up on E Findlay Street near the Methodist church with two bottles of liquor found.

The Wall Street Inn opened Saturday evening as one of the town’s most attractive places. The blue and tan interior and narrow front windows create a pleasing effect. Death of Ora Garn Former Carey Resident
Ora Garn born June 14 1869 in Carey Ohio died September 20 1926 at 8 17 am after a lingering illness. He lived in Toledo and Van Wert with a large family including wife Clara Corfman and five children. Funeral held at Christ Lutheran Church with interment in Spring Grove cemetery. Pallbearers included his four sons and two brothers. The obituary notes extensive family and friends attendance. Woman Takes Poison on Toledo Bound Train
A Big Four train was halted Sunday evening as doctors cared for a woman passenger who reportedly took poison to avoid meeting an uncle in Toledo. A fellow passenger, a local physician, assisted. The woman, Bernice Louise Lowery, daughter of Mrs Robert Lowery and Cyril Mohr of Fostoria, was married a week earlier in Venice, Michigan.

Juvenile Court Holds Busy Day in Sycamore Case
