Suit seeks damages in auto crash injuring minor
Homer Swerline as guardian for Isabelle Lortz sues Marvel Kiger of McComb for 10000 dollars in Hancock county court. The accident occurred on route 224 five miles west of Findlay on Sunday May 30. Lortz was riding with William Lear when Kiger’s car allegedly cut in and struck Lear’s car, ejecting Lortz who suffered severe injuries. Attorneys George A. Cheney of Toledo and Marcus C. Frank Robert Given of Findlay lost control of his car while racing another vehicle on Findlay street early Wednesday. He struck a tree in front of the H. G. Chambers residence, suffering slight facial cuts and receiving treatment from nearby Dr. S. R. Bamne. The car was wrecked beyond repair.

The 1937 squirrel season starts September 25 and runs to October 10. Daily limit is four on gray and fox squirrels and eight in possession. Red squirrels have no limit. Rabbit season runs November 15 to January 1 and the third season November 15 to 25, unchanged from last year.
