The Ohio Fuel Gas Co and The Carey Times sponsor a cooking school in Catholic hall on Friday and Saturday afternoons December 10 and 11. Miss Mary Brown of Columbus and Miss Sue Thomas of Findlay will lead demonstrations with a model kitchen on stage. A Tap pan gas range will be given to a lucky attendee Saturday afternoon with other prizes for all.

Packers Win Tournament At Rubber Plant Field
Last Sunday Donelson's Packers of Carey won a local baseball tournament held at the rubber plant field. The event opened with Upper Sandusky defeating Bucyrus 8 to 8 and included Carey beating Little Sandusky 17 to 5 led by Parsell's pitching and key hits from Messmer Keckler Fout Orians and Keckler. Carey then beat Upper Sandusky 5 to 1 with Parsell again on the mound. Next Sunday the teams resume play at Little Sandusky with Bucyrus facing Little Sandusky at noon.

Richard Wenner Returns Home After Illness
Richard Wenner is brought home by his family from Robert Long hospital in Indianapolis where he had been ill for four weeks with pneumonia. His mother Mrs C C Wenner and relatives traveled in a funeral car to fetch him, as he slowly recovers at home north of town after helping with the C A Wentz horses at the Indiana state fair and Ohio state fair exhibitions.

Revival Singer Harry Fagan Reads Through Shut Eyelids
Blind pianist and revival singer Harry Fagan, known for a thousand gospel songs, headlines a Carey Nazarene Mission revival this week and next. Despite being born blind, Fagan learned to read with eyelids closed and has performed at 200 revival meetings over 14 years, accompanied by his wife.
