Benjamin Burnap Dies at 73 Noted Vanlue Civic Leader
Benjamin Burnap a Vanlue resident and former justice of the peace and postmaster died Sunday morning at age seventy three. He was Civil War veteran and a Mason. Survived by wife Nancy Howard and two sons Frank of Vanlue and Guy of Findlay. Funeral Tuesday at 2 PM at his residence with Rev. F. B. Herbert officiating. Mt. Blanchard Masons led the ceremonies. Burial in Zion Bloom Cemetery.

Mrs. D. W. Taft of Forest comes to Carey to live with her daughter Mrs. Edward Reister. After nearly two years illness, Mr. Taft died last week at his Forest home. Funeral held Wednesday. Mrs. Reister was with her father at his death.
