The Very Reverend Aloys M. Fish o M C S T D Ph D former rector of the Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation died September 14 at St James hospital Chicago Heights Ill at 70 years old Having spent 17 years in Carey he helped establish the Shrine Pilgrim House school and various municipal improvements He later served as Minister Provincial ordained in 1894 and held roles including pastor of St Anne's Chicago Heights His long career began in 1884 with the Franciscans He was a reform minded chaplain at the New Jersey state prison and helped introduce a parole system Interment was at Mt St Francis Ind after solemn funeral at St Anne's church Authorities attended the services and a Solemn Requiem Mass was held at the Shrine.

Mr and Mrs Willis Stahl announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Jane Louise Stahl to Mr Charles Hoff.
