Michael Wenzinger died at his home four miles south of Carey on sugar diabetes after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were at St. Joseph's church Salem with interment in the local cemetery. He was born October 14 1855 in Shelby Settlement, married Caroline Henige in 1883, and leaves five children, two sisters, one brother, 17 grandchildren and a faithful farming career in Salem township.
