His wife worked as a stenographer in Columbus before relocating, and they have two children Julie six and David three. They live at 219 N. Vance Street with Johnson's sister Vickie Flannery.

A six year old girl, Peggy Stoll, suffered a fractured left leg when she rode into the path of a car driven by Daunt E. Brinker on Findlay Street Friday at 4 42 p m. She was taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital and later to Blanchard Valley Hospital. Police officer Paul F Pahl investigated.

Truman Cole aged 83 plans to keep working at Carey Implement Store on S Vance Street. He has 20 years with the firm and recalls when the building was a livery barn. Cole was born in Nebraska, raised in Wharton, and married in 1902, with no children. He and his wife care for others and he still drives, praising his health despite his wife’s invalid condition.
