House Burns on Findlay Road West of Town
A home owned by Mr and Mrs Ray Williams and family burned to the ground Saturday night two miles west of town. A passerby alerted the town, Williams was at the lime plant, and Mrs Williams and children were in Carey. The Carey fire department could not save the structure and only furniture downstairs was recovered. the cause is known and insurance partially covers the loss.
