Dr Marcus Rieke director of youth work for the American Lutheran Church will lecture at the Wyandot County Fair Sunday at 8 PM. The service in the grandstand features his talk The Church and Community with a program of hymns readings solos and prayers led by local clergy and church groups. Dr Rieke 46 hails from Odessa Washington and holds degrees from St Olaf College Capital University and its seminary and is a noted author and international church youth leader.

William Steven Appelman 33 Findlay reckless operation fined ten dollars costs eighty six cents. Guy E Greer 81 Route 1 failure to yield right of way ten dollars costs six dollars fifty one cents. G Mocales 45 Route 1 intoxication ten dollars costs eight dollars sixty cents. Marines Raymond Roy Platt 18 and Joseph E Leboeuf 18 Carey and Peter Jacob Jr 19 Carey each assessed five dollars fine and costs on assault and battery charges. Auto Demolished in Route 23 Crash Near Carey
A southbound 1955 Chevrolet was demolished at 1:15 am Saturday on U S Route 23 six miles south of Carey near the Indian Trail Theatre. Sheriff deputies investigated after the auto struck a telephone pole when driver Frank H Fisher of Tiffin lost control. Fisher was taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital for evaluation and released. The car was moved to Shuman Bros. garage.

Allan A Baker 68, Ridge township farmer and fertilizer dealer, died instantly when his car was struck by a west bound A C and Y freight train at the Tong Road crossing near Carey.
